Donna Sumner has been assigned as the primary contact person for participation in the Senior Services Project, including Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs.
Applicants and program participants of the Redby and Ponemah District are also assigned to Donna Sumner.
Delores Smith has been assigned as the primary contact person for participation in the Student Services Project, which is the Work Orientation Program.
Applicants and program participants of the Red Lake and Little Rock District are also assigned to Delores Smith.
Vocational Rehabilitation Services are described in an individualized plan for employment. There must ben an employment outcome that is consistent with the strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice of the individual.
Services are provided to the extent that financial support is not readily available from another source.
Some of the services - listed just to give an example - include:
A thorough and complete assessment to determine eligibility and rehabilitation needs.
Counseling and guidance.
Referral and other services to secure needed services from other agencies.
Job related services, including job search, placement assistance, follow-up and follow-along services.
Specialized support for individuals with the most severe disabilities.
